This is a simple word-count estimate. Actual duration varies with pauses, emphasis, pronunciation, editing, and delivery. Check the finished recording and current platform limits yourself.
How the estimate works
The tool counts groups of words separated by spaces and estimates total speaking time by dividing the word count by the selected words-per-minute pace. A slower delivery or pauses will increase the real runtime; a faster delivery may shorten it.
For a more reliable estimate, read the script aloud at your intended pace and time the recording. Use platform specifications as they exist when you publish.
